Salary: $212,000 — $265,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead and grow a high-performing team responsible for distributed orchestration infrastructure running tens of thousands of daily workflows.
• Define the long-term technical vision and roadmap for orchestration, aligning with broader Data Infrastructure and Analytics strategies.
• Drive the adoption of best-in-class workflow paradigms and tooling across data engineering, reliability, and ML teams.
• Partner with cross-functional teams in Compute, Storage, Analytics, and ML Infrastructure to integrate orchestration capabilities.
• Coach and mentor engineers to enable strong technical judgment, clarity of thinking, and ownership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience managing and scaling distributed systems teams.
• Strong technical background in distributed systems, workflow orchestration engines, or data infrastructure tooling.
• Hands-on experience with frameworks such as Apache Airflow, Dagster, Flyte, Prefect, or Kubeflow.
• Strong familiarity with software engineering principles, design patterns, and code quality practices.
• Must live in a US state where hirify.global, Inc. has a registered entity.
