Caseworker (Humanitarian)

Salary: $26.50–$27.50 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate pre- and post-arrival services, including housing, food, and medical care.
• Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized self-sufficiency plans.
• Monitor client progress and provide direct support and advocacy.
• Maintain detailed client records in databases for tracking and reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships with area service providers.
• Lead and train volunteers and interns.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York, NY.
• Relevant professional experience in the human services field (2+ years strongly preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with refugee and/or immigrant populations strongly preferred.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal, insured vehicle.
