Salary: $148,852.00 - $248,578.00

What you will do

• Lead structural design engineering and analysis for substation scopes, producing complex deliverables for mega-projects.
• Perform research and prepare complex calculations in accordance with industry and company standards.
• Develop recommendations for equipment and materials while managing budgets, schedules, and quality requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and performance management for engineering team members.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align project execution with client interests and drivers.
• Supervise engineering staff on projects of medium to high complexity and serve as a key technical reference.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized accredited program.
• Minimum of 11 years of related work experience.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) License required to support Engineer of Record (EOR) requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of structural steel and concrete design using 3D software (RISA 3D, STAAD Pro, or equivalent).
• Foundation design experience using tools such as LPile, RISA Foundation, or SP-Mats.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding including background checks and drug screening.

Nice to have

• Experience with the design of utility-scale electrical substations, energy, or renewables.
• Specific expertise in structural design of electrical substation steel structures and foundations.
