What you will do

• Perform structural analysis and design for traditional steel and reinforced concrete structures.
• Execute wind and seismic lateral-force analysis in accordance with IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC requirements.
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
• Develop calculations, design documents, and BIM/CAD models using tools including Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Own structural scopes, budgets, schedules, quality control, and proactive scope-change identification.
• Lead structural work packages, review peer calculations, and mentor junior engineers and designers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive professional structural engineering experience.
• Proficiency with U.S. building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.
• Experience with structural analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam, as well as steel and reinforced concrete design.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Structural Engineer (SE) license.
• Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Experience with complex industrial, manufacturing, or mission-critical facilities.
• Leadership experience managing structural scopes or guiding small project teams.
