VP, Senior Program Director (Capital Markets)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office

Base salary: $178,000–$267,000 per year, plus annual bonus or commission, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define and lead strategy and execution for large-scale, multi-year enterprise transformation programs.
• Translate business strategies into execution across financial market infrastructures and Tier 1 banking clients.
• Represent the organization with senior client stakeholders, C-suite leaders, and steering committees.
• Establish governance for program risk, financials, delivery, reporting, scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Lead initiatives covering technology modernization, operating model redesign, and regulatory-driven change.
• Build and mobilize cross-functional teams across geographies while ensuring effective resource planning and delivery discipline.

Requirements

• 20+ years of leadership experience in program management and transformation delivery within capital markets, banking, or financial market infrastructures.
• Experience leading complex programs for Tier 1 banks or financial market infrastructures such as exchanges, clearing houses, custodians, or central banks.
• Deep understanding of front-to-back capital markets operations, including trading, clearing, custody, and post-trade processing.
• Experience managing large program financials, including budget oversight, forecasting, and commercial governance.
• Strong executive presence, communication, governance, and stakeholder management capabilities in regulated global environments.
• Fluent Spanish required for client communication.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or equivalent senior leadership training.
• Experience delivering enterprise-wide technology implementations and data transformation initiatives.
• Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, or SAFe.
