Sales Manager (SaaS): Leading a team of Business Development Associates to drive growth within the advisory sector for a Virtual Data Room (VDR) platform with an accent on market expansion and strategic partnerships. Location: Remote, must be based in the USA (New York City area) to lead a local team and attend industry events

Salary: Base $135K – $160K (50/50 split with bonus, OTE $270K – $320K)

What you will do

  • Mentor and scale a team of 8 field sales professionals focused on advisory clients.
  • Set and track operational and business development metrics, presenting insights to the executive team.
  • Expand new business pipelines within the advisory space and build strategic partnerships.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Finance to align customer lifecycle objectives.
  • Use sales data to provide accurate forecasting and identify market trends.
  • Represent the company at industry events and high-stakes interactions in the NYC area.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in New York City area.
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year university.
  • 5+ years of B2B new business development and closing experience across multiple geographies.
  • 2+ years of experience managing outbound sales teams of 4+ employees.
  • Professional background in B2B SaaS with high-velocity sales strategy experience.
  • Proficiency in sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger.
  • English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in financial, legal, or consulting advisory fields.
  • Deep understanding of M&A workflows.
