What you will do
- Lead end-to-end pricing of complex reinsurance treaties, including assumption development and risk/return optimization.
- Develop and enhance actuarial models and set methodology standards to drive continuous improvement.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to support the creation and maintenance of pricing risk governance controls.
- Collaborate with data science, engineering, and security experts to shape data-driven insurance solutions.
- Foster a solutions-driven approach as an ambassador for the actuarial team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in insurance pricing, with at least 4+ years specifically in reinsurance.
- ACAS or FCAS certification.
- Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or a related field.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Strong understanding of reinsurance treaty structures and actuarial pricing.
- Ability to solve ambiguous problems using a structured, data-driven approach.
Nice to have
- Pricing experience in Cyber (re)Insurance.
- Experience building and monitoring advanced pricing frameworks.
- Experience working with external regulators, carriers, and brokers.
