TL;DR

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end pricing of complex reinsurance treaties, including assumption development and risk/return optimization.
  • Develop and enhance actuarial models and set methodology standards to drive continuous improvement.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to support the creation and maintenance of pricing risk governance controls.
  • Collaborate with data science, engineering, and security experts to shape data-driven insurance solutions.
  • Foster a solutions-driven approach as an ambassador for the actuarial team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in insurance pricing, with at least 4+ years specifically in reinsurance.
  • ACAS or FCAS certification.
  • Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or a related field.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Strong understanding of reinsurance treaty structures and actuarial pricing.
  • Ability to solve ambiguous problems using a structured, data-driven approach.

Nice to have

  • Pricing experience in Cyber (re)Insurance.
  • Experience building and monitoring advanced pricing frameworks.
  • Experience working with external regulators, carriers, and brokers.
