What you will do
- Manage internal audit risk assessments, develop the audit universe, and conduct risk-based project planning and scoping.
- Execute the full audit lifecycle from planning and scoping to fieldwork, reporting, and remediation follow-up.
- Conduct walkthroughs and tests of controls to evaluate the effectiveness of the company's SOX 404 program.
- Identify control gaps and provide value-added recommendations to strengthen the control environment.
- Collaborate with process owners to operationalize remediation plans and promote a culture of integrity.
- Mentor and develop junior staff within the Internal Audit team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Masters, MBA, or CPA, CIA, CISA, CISM strongly preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of auditing experience (combination of internal and/or external).
- Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and operational audits is required.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and IIA standards is required.
- Strong critical thinking and data analytical skills to articulate risks using data insights.
- Must be based in or able to work in Bridgewater, NJ.
Nice to have
- Fraud examination experience (CFE).
- Experience in pharmaceutical, life science, biotech, or manufacturing industries.
- AI-featured auditing skills.
- Experience in Public Accounting.
