What you will do

• Prepare and manage monthly construction draws and track job costs and development expenditures.
• Collaborate with development and construction teams on project budgets and budget-to-actual (BTA) reporting.
• Oversee corporate and project bank accounts, managing vendor payments and daily cash tracking.
• Maintain corporate budgets, monthly forecasts, and perform variance analysis to evaluate performance trends.
• Identify and implement process improvements for expense management and reporting tools.
• Coordinate with lenders, consultants, project partners, and internal accounting teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, specifically within multifamily real estate, development, or construction.
• Strong proficiency in GAAP and multi-entity accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas.
• Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• CPA license or active progress toward certification.
• Experience with property management systems (e.g., Entrada) or QuickBooks.
• A combination of public and private accounting experience.
• Exposure to the full development lifecycle from pre-development to stabilization.
