What you will do

• Support day-to-day pricing and underwriting activities for new and renewal business opportunities.
• Partner with cross-functional groups to maintain and enhance underwriting processes, financial models, and reporting procedures.
• Assist senior underwriters with the development and execution of pricing strategies.
• Prepare underwriting presentations and supporting documentation, identifying potential risks for review.
• Gather and organize external data and analyze historical claims to support decision-making.
• Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Economics.
• 1-3+ years of proven experience in financial analysis, actuarial services, accounting, or underwriting.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualization tools.
• Ability to manipulate large data sets and interpret historical claims data.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional communication.
• Based in or able to work from the specified US locations.

Nice to have

• Experience in Pharmacy, PBM, or Health Plan industries.
• Proficiency in SQL, SAS, or R.
