What you will do

• Lead design for foundational platform layers and wide-scale initiatives that support all hirify.global products.
• Define interaction models, primitives, and patterns for AI-first capabilities ensuring trust and user control.
• Ship production code and develop realistic coded prototypes with real data to validate platform work.
• Evolve and strengthen the "Dialtone" design system, creating reusable patterns for other design teams.
• Mentor designers across the organization, coaching peers on AI fluency, craft, and communication.
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to set the strategic direction for platform infrastructure.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in high-quality product design with a focus on platform-level or foundational surfaces.
• Proven practice of treating AI as a design medium, with portfolio evidence of AI-native work from the last 6 months.
• Ability to contribute production code and use coded prototypes as a primary tool for thinking and validation.
• Experience designing scalable components and systems consumed by other designers and engineers.
• Strong systems thinking and the ability to navigate complex, ambiguous projects autonomously.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping agentic workflows, conversational interfaces, or AI-native products.
• Background in SaaS, real-time collaboration platforms, or contact center software.
• History of building internal tooling, prototyping infrastructure, or developer-facing design systems.
