Senior Systems Engineer

What you will do

• Design and implement secure, cost-efficient cloud and on-prem infrastructure solutions for internal customers.
• Provide automated and secure access to key systems and services.
• Improve infrastructure and services, including deploying, patching, and migrating critical systems.
• Implement best practices for infrastructure/service automation, observability, and security across teams.
• Build automated onboarding, offboarding, and permissions management solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and support technical discussions and recruitment interviews.

Requirements

• On-site requirement: be in the Delft office at least three days a week.
• 7+ years in cloud and on-prem infrastructure engineering roles.
• Deep understanding of core cloud infrastructure services (virtual machines, virtual networks, storage, key vaults).
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and/or Python.
• Experience with Atlassian, GitHub, Slack, Cloudflare, and Artifactory.
• Experience administering DNS, Web Application Firewalls, and SSL certificates.
