What you will do

• Design new data centers and DC halls, focusing on the physical network and connectivity layer.
• Develop detailed designs for passive infrastructure, including cabling, connectors, patch panels, and ODFs.
• Create and interpret technical floorplans, rack elevations, and cable tray routing.
• Provide design and advisory support for the New Data Center project.
• Coordinate design activities with various technical stakeholders and translate requirements into structured recommendations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in designing new data centers or DC halls.
• Deep knowledge of passive infrastructure (cables, connectors, ODFs, cable trays, containment).
• Ability to create technical designs, floorplans, and rack elevations.
• Familiarity with structured cabling standards for both fiber and copper.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Hoofddorp, Netherlands (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with cabling work inside DC halls.
• High-level knowledge of data center power and cooling setups.
