Systems Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Decompose customer and business requirements into structured functional and non-functional system requirements.
• Develop system architectural designs, specify system elements, and manage interfaces.
• Perform system modeling, simulations, trade-off analyses, feasibility assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Collaborate with software, functional safety, cybersecurity, electrical engineering, verification, and project management teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Maintain system FMEA documentation and support technical feasibility assessments for RFQs, RFIs, and change requests.

Requirements

• BSc in Systems, Automotive, Software, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, preferably in automotive, heavy equipment, or agricultural industries.
• Knowledge of requirements engineering and system architectural design.
• Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS NG or Polarion, and system modeling tools such as SMW or Capella.
• Ability to work with cross-functional engineering teams and assess technical risks.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Functional Safety, ISO 26262, Cybersecurity, ISO 21434, ASPICE, UNECE R46, MBSE, field-of-view studies, camera image pipelines, image recognition, or image stitching.
