What you will do

• Repair and maintain machinery, electrical equipment, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, control systems, and production equipment.
• Assemble and test motor control devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, solenoids, and related components.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair controls, automation components, sensors, motors, control drives, and PLC programs.
• Modify electrical prototypes and develop wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for equipment changes.
• Use lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools to manufacture and repair parts.

Requirements

• Two-year Associate’s Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology with an emphasis on industrial automation, or an Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, industrial controls, sensors, motors, and PLC programs.
• Ability to read and develop wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and equipment specifications.
• Successful completion of the hirify.global Electronic Theory Exam and/or a standard mechanical aptitude test.
