What you will do

• Define and own the overarching research strategy and vision for Wealth Management, aligning programs with business priorities.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of mixed-methods researchers, fostering a culture of user advocacy.
• Establish and scale research operations, including tooling, participant recruitment, and knowledge management.
• Apply mixed methodologies—including surveys, interviews, and usability testing—to deliver actionable insights.
• Pioneer the adoption of AI tools throughout the research lifecycle to increase efficiency and accelerate time-to-insight.
• Communicate research findings and strategic recommendations directly to executive and C-suite leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in mixed-method user research, including substantial leadership experience.
• Must be based in New York, NY, United States.
• University degree in UX, Human Factors, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related research/business field.
• Proven expertise in both qualitative (ethnographic, usability) and quantitative (conjoint, multivariate) approaches.
• Experience leveraging AI for study design, synthesis, and insight generation.
• Exceptional executive communication skills with a track record of influencing C-suite stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in a large financial institution, specifically within Wealth and Asset Management.
• Familiarity with financial markets for High Net Worth Individuals.
• Experience working with large data sets and advanced quantitative research methodologies.
