What you will do

• Prepare and file multi-state sales and use tax, gross receipts, and personal property tax returns.
• Manage federal and state income tax compliance in partnership with external advisors.
• Own the corporate tax calendar to ensure timely filing and payment of all obligations.
• Perform complex account reconciliations and support tight month-end close processes.
• Research evolving tax laws to assess business impact and identify potential tax exposures.
• Act as the primary point of contact for tax notices, audits, and information requests.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
• 3+ years of progressive tax or accounting experience with income and indirect tax compliance.
• General Ledger accounting experience.
• Strong experience with major ERP systems, Oracle experience is highly preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

Nice to have

• CPA or similar active certification.
• Experience with tax automation software.
• Experience with NetSuite or SAP.
