What you will do

  • Design, build, and optimize robust ETL pipelines using PySpark and DBT to process large-scale customer datasets.
  • Define the technical vision for DC data architecture and lead the implementation of scalable data solutions.
  • Mentor engineers and manage external contractors to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and applied science teams to scope and address data quality challenges.
  • Develop tools and frameworks to streamline customer integrations and improve platform scalability.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Canada or one of the specified US states.
  • Significant experience designing and maintaining ETLs for large-scale datasets.
  • Proficiency with Python, PySpark, SQL, and platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or DBT.
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical lead role with a focus on mentorship.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with ambiguous requirements.
  • Position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
