Senior Localization Engineer (Applied AI)

What you will do

• Lead the evolution from automated to AI-led localization workflows, initially focused on product UI releases across multiple languages.
• Extend AI-led pipeline principles to online documentation, marketing, and other content areas.
• Design and evolve scalable multilingual content delivery architecture and workflow automation.
• Define technical standards, system hygiene practices, governance, and engineering documentation.
• Build AI-powered operational reporting and productivity improvements.
• Deliver key initiatives hands-on while coordinating contracted and distributed engineering partners.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs, preferably Claude or Anthropic, and agentic steps into production engineering workflows.
• Ability to design event-driven, API-first translation infrastructure integrating repositories, CMS platforms, databases, translation engines, and release events.
• Strong internationalization and localization engineering knowledge, including string externalization, frameworks, localization file formats, and encoding conventions.
• Understanding of Translation Management Systems, Translation Memory, Machine Translation, CI/CD, and DevOps principles.
• Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, Python, and Regex.
• Ability to collaborate with linguists, project managers, developers, architects, and distributed teams across multiple geographies.

• Experience with Claude or Anthropic integrations.
• Experience with CMS-driven and proxy-based localization solutions.
• Experience generalizing localization solutions across content types and delivery channels.
