TL;DR

Technical Supervisor (Legal): Supporting a legal team in managing military deafness disease claims with an accent on technical supervision, compliance, and caseload management. Focus on driving quality delivery, resolving client complaints, and developing team capabilities within the insurance sector.

Location: Must be based in Bolton, UK. Candidates must hold British Citizenship due to national security requirements.

What you will do

  • Plan and distribute team workload to ensure timely and profitable case completion.
  • Provide technical support and supervision to team members to facilitate their professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with internal benchmarks and SRA Standards & Regulations.
  • Implement learning activities to improve team performance and authority levels.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client complaints and resolve issues effectively.
  • Manage a small caseload of mixed disease claims.

Requirements

  • Must hold British Citizenship (sole or dual national).
  • Must be able to work onsite in Bolton.
  • Extensive experience in handling disease claims with authority up to £100k.
  • Technical knowledge of NIHL (Noise Induced Hearing Loss) claims.
  • Proficiency in all stages of pre-litigation and litigation processes.
  • Experience with Case/Claims Management systems and MS Office.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience leading a project or team in the insurance or legal sector.
  • Proven ability to identify learning gaps and formulate performance improvement plans.
