What you will do
- Design and build scalable, well-documented, reliable APIs and SDKs that power Publish.
- Build backend infrastructure and APIs for AI-driven, agentic content creation, management, and publishing workflows.
- Act as a technical bridge between the platform and enterprise customers, translating requirements into scalable solutions.
- Drive platform reliability for a visual CMS at scale, ensuring consistent rendering and seamless integration across varied customer stacks.
- Shape technical direction through design docs, architectural decisions, code reviews, and proactive ownership of technical debt and quality.
- Deliver drama-free launches by anticipating edge cases, surfacing risks early, and scoping work to balance effort and value.
Requirements
- 6+ years of full-stack web development experience shipping complex, production-grade features independently.
- Deep expertise in React and TypeScript/Node.js, with strong instincts for performance and architectural patterns.
- Strong API and backend fluency, including designing and building scalable REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Curiosity about AI and agentic systems, with interest in building products where AI actively drives content workflows.
- Cloud fluency with experience architecting scalable systems on AWS or Google Cloud.
- Ability to work effectively with enterprise customers and own resolution end-to-end.
