Senior Product Marketing Manager (IoT)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States

Annual base salary: $124,600–$231,400 USD, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead market opportunity identification and translate customer and market insights into product and technology strategies.
• Own the process from opportunity discovery through MRD development and Product Development Program approval.
• Use customer engagement, competitive intelligence, market sizing, and AI-enabled research tools to define product requirements, use cases, and business cases.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and executive leadership on roadmaps, investments, and segment growth strategies.
• Drive revenue growth, design-win expansion, funnel creation, market share growth, and commercialization activities.
• Build relationships with strategic customers, ecosystem partners, and industry stakeholders while representing hirify.global at meetings and events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of industry experience in semiconductors, wireless connectivity, embedded systems, IoT, consumer electronics, industrial technology, or related markets.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, product marketing, product management, strategic marketing, market development, or related roles.
• Experience developing market requirements, business cases, strategic product plans, MRDs, or product investment proposals.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems, semiconductors, wireless connectivity technologies, ecosystem dynamics, market sizing, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis.
• Ability to communicate with and influence customers, executive leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders, with domestic and international travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience leading or authoring MRDs, PRDs, or equivalent product planning artifacts.
• Experience developing strategic partnerships and ecosystem relationships.
• Experience with business planning, revenue forecasting, portfolio strategy, innovation management, AI tools, and advanced analytics.
