Mechanical Designer (Outdoor Power Equipment)

Location: Brillion, Wisconsin, United States; onsite. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

What you will do

• Create and release technical design content of low to moderate complexity, including 3D CAD models, 2D detailed drawings, and bills of materials.
• Apply company and industry CAD standards, GD&T, sheet-metal techniques, and other modeling methods.
• Prepare and present CAD models and drawings for design reviews and incorporate feedback.
• Collaborate with engineers and senior designers on design updates, prototype feedback, and engineering changes.
• Support prototype builds and evaluate parts for fit, form, and function while considering manufacturability, assembly, materials, tolerances, cost, performance, and reliability.
• Use PDM and ERP systems to manage part numbers, BOMs, and engineering changes, and manage multiple smaller projects or components of larger projects.

Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or an equivalent qualification is required.
• U.S. work authorization without current or future sponsorship is required.
