What you will do

• Organize, prioritize, and track work across infrastructure and cloud engineering teams.
• Embed security and compliance into planning cycles, coordinating audit activities and tracking KPIs.
• Serve as the primary interface between infrastructure teams and product, security, and executive stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies for IaaS, SaaS, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
• Refine program management processes to improve delivery predictability and clarity.
• Support planning for major infrastructure projects, including platform upgrades and capacity expansions.

Requirements

• Must be based in Washington D.C., Sarasota, Miami, New York City, or Toronto.
• Demonstrated experience as a program or project manager supporting infrastructure or cloud engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of IaaS, SaaS, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Proven track record integrating security, risk, and compliance activities into engineering delivery.
• Proficiency with program management tools like Jira, GitHub/GitLab Issues, and Confluence.
• Ability to influence outcomes across teams without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Direct experience managing ISO 27001 certification or surveillance audits.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, PCI DSS, FedRAMP, or NIST 800-53 frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Agile/Scrum (CSM, PSM, SAFe).
• Background in technical roles like engineering or systems administration.
• Experience with OpenStack, Kubernetes, or Ceph ecosystems.
