What you will do

• Translate complex business problems into clear data science questions with measurable success criteria.
• Own and design practical ML solutions, balancing model performance, explainability, and usability.
• Design robust data structures and features for modelling, accounting for system constraints.
• Write maintainable, production-quality SQL and Python code following industry best practices.
• Manage the full model lifecycle, including monitoring, validation, and retraining.
• Mentor junior team members and improve overall organisational data science capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Data Science or Machine Learning role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data science toolkits (e.g., PyTorch).
• Proven ability to deliver and monitor end-to-end AI/ML solutions in production.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts, experimentation, and performance measurement.
• Experience working with Cloud Platforms and BI tooling.
• Ability to communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks and Sigma.
• Prior experience in the energy industry.
