What you will do

• Apply data science, machine learning, and AI techniques to transform complex data into actionable insights.
• Develop, evaluate, and improve analytical models, predictive capabilities, and AI-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on operational, business, and customer challenges.
• Communicate complex findings through visualisations, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities for automation and adoption.
• Support responsible AI practices, security, transparency, governance, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Experience applying data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or advanced analytics to practical challenges.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain UK Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
• Relevant tools include Python, Spark, Scala, Databricks, AWS, SQL, Azure, Snowflake, MLflow, and GitHub.

Nice to have

• Experience operationalising AI or machine learning solutions.
• Knowledge of generative AI, modern data platforms, cloud technologies, or distributed processing.
• Experience with visualisation, dashboards, model assurance, or AI governance.
• Experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments, or mentoring others.
