Senior Solutions Architect (Retail/CPG)

TL;DR

Senior Solutions Architect (Retail/CPG): Designing and delivering end-to-end Data & AI solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse platform with an accent on Generative AI, RAG, and MLOps for large-scale enterprise customers. Focus on driving technical strategy, leading complex proofs-of-concept, and coaching junior team members to achieve business objectives.

Location: Must be based in London, UK, with ability to commute to the office regularly and travel 20-30% across UK&I and EMEA.

What you will do

• Engage with large, complex customers in the UK & Ireland to define technical strategies and drive adoption of the Lakehouse platform.
• Architect end-to-end Data & AI solutions, including Generative AI concepts like fine-tuning and RAG.
• Lead the full pre-sales lifecycle, from use case discovery and solution scoping to delivering complex PoCs.
• Influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, from engineers to executives, by demonstrating technical and business value.
• Coach and mentor junior Solutions Architects to develop their technical and customer-facing skills.
• Contribute to the technical community by developing collateral and leading workshops and seminars.

Requirements

• Must be based in London or able to commute to the London office regularly.
• Hands-on experience in technical pre-sales or consultancy with a strong background in Data Science, AI, or Generative AI.
• Demonstrated expertise in architecting end-to-end Data & AI solutions using modern concepts like RAG, fine-tuning, and MLOps.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with a willingness to learn or existing knowledge of Spark.
• Experience with big data analytics technologies and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proven ability to engage in technical sales, challenge assumptions, and communicate value propositions to diverse audiences.
