TL;DR

Technical Account Manager (SaaS): Serving as the strategic technical backbone for high-value enterprise customers by managing program configurations, integrations, and technical escalations. Focus on bridging the gap between complex customer requirements and product capabilities to drive retention and platform adoption.

Location: Must be based within commuting distance of Munich, Germany (Hybrid: 3 days/week in-office).

What you will do

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for high-value enterprise customers.
  • Guide customers through platform setup, configuration, and optimization to meet business objectives.
  • Coordinate with Professional Services for significant program changes while maintaining technical oversight.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Provide technical context to Account Managers to support renewal and expansion conversations.
  • Systematically feed customer product feedback to the Engineering and Product teams.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in technical account management, solutions engineering, or implementation at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to grasp complex concepts like REST APIs, webhooks, and SCIM.
  • Proven track record of managing customer relationships and delivering technical solutions.
  • Project management skills to handle multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be based within commuting distance of Munich to support an IRL-first hybrid work model.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, IT, Engineering).
  • Background in Spend management, AP automation, or ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Workday).
  • Experience in a scale-up or post-acquisition environment.
  • Additional European language proficiency (French, Spanish, Dutch).
