What you will do

• Drive optical sub-assembly product engineering and NPI from design through mass production.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers on process, equipment, and fixture development and qualification.
• Implement yield improvement and cost reduction strategies and define DFM requirements.
• Support DFMEA, reliability risk mitigation, and product characterization.
• Lead failure analysis and RMA investigations.

Requirements

• BS with 7+ years or MS with 5+ years of experience in optical component/module product development or manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in optical active/passive alignment and assembly processes.
• Proven experience in high-volume yield improvement and Telcordia GR-468 qualification.
• Proficiency in Gage R&R, FMEA, SPC, Cpk, and DOE.
• Applicants must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws (EAR).
