R&D Product Development Engineer (Semiconductor)

Semiconductor product development for isolation products used in automotive and industrial applications.

What you will do

• Define, design, test, and characterize new isolation products.
• Run R&D programs with IC design, test, process, product, quality, manufacturing, and contract manufacturing teams.
• Plan and execute engineering programs to improve manufacturing yield, product quality, and reliability.
• Perform product yield analysis and investigate device failures.
• Support product validation and cross-functional development activities.

Requirements

• Degree, Master’s, or PhD in electrical, electronics, or computer engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in semiconductor R&D product development or a related field.
• Strong expertise in analog design, optoelectronics design, and/or power MOSFET design.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with semiconductor product characterization, yield analysis and improvement, bench test setup, ATE testing, statistical analysis tools, and physical failure analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience leading NPI projects and taking products from verification and qualification through high-volume soft launch.
