What you will do

  • Lead commercial negotiations with foundry partners regarding wafer pricing, volume purchase agreements, and long-term contracts.
  • Develop and execute foundry sourcing strategies aligned with product and technology roadmaps.
  • Perform should-cost analysis and lead cost-reduction initiatives to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Manage foundry relationships using performance scorecards for yield, delivery, and commercial health.
  • Secure and defend wafer capacity allocations during periods of high market demand.
  • Act as the commercial lead for cross-functional projects involving tape-outs, technology transfers, and new product introductions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business.
  • Minimum 5 years of sourcing experience in a foundry manufacturing environment or semiconductor IDM.
  • Direct experience sourcing wafer products, bare die, or frontend services.
  • Proficiency in SAP for datasheet and vendor management.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required for managing global and Asia-based partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into sourcing strategies.
