HR Generalist (Defense)

What you will do

• Manage full-cycle personnel administration, including contracts, amendments, and compliance with the French Labour Code and Métallurgie collective agreement.
• Oversee variable payroll inputs and coordinate with payroll providers to ensure accuracy and timely close.
• Design and implement scalable onboarding and offboarding processes specifically adapted to the plant environment.
• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for site employees and managers, acting as a trusted presence on the shop floor.
• Coordinate training plans, maintain HR dashboards, and track key indicators such as headcount, absenteeism, and turnover.
• Collaborate with the HSE Manager on risk assessments (DUERP) and workplace safety reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of HR Generalist or HRBP experience, with at least 2 years on an industrial or manufacturing site.
• Solid working knowledge of the French Labour Code.
• Experience managing disciplinary procedures, absence management, and first-level payroll.
• Proficiency with HRIS (HiBob preferred) and scheduling tools (Skello or equivalent).
• Full professional fluency in both French and English (written and verbal).
• Ability to operate autonomously as the sole HR representative on a site.
