Associate Director, Enterprise Architecture, Global Commercial & Medical IT (Biotech)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work mode with off-campus eligibility. A Polish work permit and residency are required.

Salary: PLN 348,000–487,500 base compensation, plus an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Define and govern enterprise architecture standards for Global Commercial & Medical IT.
• Lead architecture for strategic initiatives, translating business priorities into target-state designs and technology roadmaps.
• Develop integration and data architecture strategies using APIs, event-driven architecture, data-sharing models, and enterprise data flows.
• Build multi-year business capability roadmaps and rationalize the application portfolio to reduce duplication, fragmentation, and total cost of ownership.
• Assess cloud, automation, data products, AI/ML, and generative AI capabilities for secure and compliant adoption.
• Partner with enterprise integration, data, analytics, security, infrastructure, delivery, and platform teams while mentoring architects and technical leads.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible IT experience, including 3–5+ years in architecture leadership roles.
• Enterprise or solution architecture experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotech, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
• Experience supporting Commercial and/or Medical business domains and global operating models.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns, data architecture, APIs, event-driven architecture, and secure system interoperability.
• Familiarity with TOGAF, ArchiMate, or equivalent architecture frameworks, along with strong stakeholder and influencing skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MS or MBA.
• Experience with CRM, omnichannel engagement, medical communications, customer data, and analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Veeva, Snowflake, Azure, customer data platforms, master data, and enterprise integration tools.
• Experience integrating AI/ML, generative AI, automation, or cloud capabilities in regulated environments.
• Agile or SAFe delivery experience.
