Senior Director, Infrastructure and Cloud Architecture

Location: Remote in Poland

Salary: 420,000–525,000 PLN

What you will do

• Define and govern the global infrastructure architecture strategy, roadmap, standards, and reference architectures.
• Lead architecture planning across cloud platforms, networks, compute, storage, data centers, identity, endpoints, collaboration, and platform services.
• Drive cloud adoption, infrastructure modernization, automation, infrastructure as code, observability, and service standardization.
• Establish architectural patterns for hybrid and multi-cloud environments, including connectivity, security, availability, governance, and workload placement.
• Provide architectural oversight for cloud migrations, infrastructure programs, site expansions, mergers and acquisitions integrations, and global technology initiatives.
• Lead architecture and engineering teams while partnering with cybersecurity, enterprise applications, operations, finance, procurement, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 12 years of progressive IT experience, including infrastructure architecture, engineering, cloud platforms, enterprise technology strategy, and global IT environments.
• At least 7 years of leadership experience managing technical teams, architecture teams, or large-scale infrastructure programs.
• Deep knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, data centers, identity services, endpoint platforms, collaboration technologies, automation, disaster recovery, and infrastructure security.
• Experience designing and governing hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments, enterprise roadmaps, architecture standards, reference designs, and governance processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; availability for business travel and a valid driver’s license where applicable.

• Advanced degree.
• Experience in a regulated industry, especially pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or healthcare.
• Strong vendor management, financial acumen, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
