Salary: $220,100 – $342,300 USD

• Own the engineering strategy for ad products across multiple teams.
• Make architectural decisions for serving, targeting, and measuring ads in a live-streaming context.
• Build and develop engineering managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Partner with product, sales, and operations to balance advertiser needs with creator and viewer experience.
• Set quality and velocity standards grounded in data.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience managing software engineering teams, including at least 1 year managing other managers.
• Proven track record of shipping consumer-facing products in high-growth environments.
• Strong technical background to earn credibility with senior engineers and make architectural tradeoffs.
• Ability to build a strong engineering culture anchored on innovation and cross-functional collaboration.
• Must be based in San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA.

Nice to have

• Experience building ad products (serving, targeting, measurement, or advertiser tools).
• Background working in live or real-time media environments.
• Experience operating with high autonomy in ambiguous, fast-moving organizations.
