Director, Customer Lifecycle Marketing: Building and leading lifecycle marketing systems and programs that drive client engagement, product adoption, retention, expansion, and advocacy with an accent on Net Revenue Retention (NRR) impact and behavior-based personalization. Focus on designing and optimizing the client journey, orchestrating segmentation/automation (including AI enhancements), and aligning cross-functionally to measurable client growth outcomes.

Salary Range: $137,365-$206,048, plus 20% bonus potential

What you will do
- Own marketing’s contribution to Net Revenue Retention (NRR), product adoption, client engagement, expansion pipeline, and expansion revenue.
- Define and continuously optimize the client journey across onboarding, activation, adoption, renewal, expansion, and advocacy.
- Design and scale a lifecycle marketing engine: campaigns, client communications, product launches, events (including the annual Spark user conference), and community/expansion initiatives.
- Build segmentation, personalization, automation, AI enhancements, and journey orchestration capabilities; establish testing and experimentation frameworks.
- Partner across Account Management, Sales, Onboarding, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, Community, Partnerships, Creative Services, Product, and Revenue Operations to align on lifecycle definitions and performance.
- Lead and develop a team of 4–5 lifecycle marketers; drive experimentation, continuous improvement, and adoption of AI tools and practices.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience in demand generation, lifecycle marketing, client/customer marketing, or retention marketing in B2B environments (preferably technology).
- Proven experience building and running lifecycle marketing systems connecting segmentation, campaign sequencing, and measurement into a repeatable engine.
- Strong lifecycle analytics skills (retention rates, expansion conversion, revenue per member) and ability to prioritize programs using lifecycle math.
- Experience designing multi-touch campaign sequences across the full member journey and tailoring communications by personas, roles, regions, and lifecycle stages.
- Experience leading teams that plan and produce events of different formats and sizes, including user conferences.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for this position.
