Accounts Payable Specialist (Accounting)

Salary: $27 — $31 per hour

What you will do

• Process and record payments via ACH, wire, and check in a timely manner.
• Code and submit 200+ weekly invoices to appropriate departments.
• Manage vendor onboarding and data maintenance within the NetSuite ERP system.
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations for AP and Purchasing.
• Coordinate with third-party providers and internal employees to resolve payable and expense report issues.
• Assist with quarterly and annual audit preparations and maintain finance filing systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of related Accounts Payable experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Must be located in South San Francisco, CA for hybrid office attendance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Concur Expense reports.
• Knowledge of US compliance requirements such as 1099, W9, and W8-BEN.
