About the Role

You will turn raw data into trusted datasets and power data products with AI enhanced pipelines. You will collaborate with client delivery teams and data professionals to translate domain knowledge into data infrastructure requirements, validate assumptions, and resolve data related issues. You will explore raw customer data to understand files, columns, and characteristics, and you will build end to end pipelines to move data into standardized databases. You will implement AI enhanced data products and perform quality control with automated tests and manual review to ensure trust and reliability. You will deliver data based products including interactive analyses and data quality reports to external customers, and you will continually look for ways to improve the platform.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a data driven role or equivalent in data related research projects
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in science mathematics engineering or a data driven field
• Competence in Python or R or equivalent programming language
• Competence in at least two of the following: database technologies SQL PostgreSQL; data science libraries NumPy pandas; data pipelining tools Dagster Airflow dbt; Cloud providers AWS Azure
• Ability to translate complex data findings into clear narratives
• Strong communication capability to decompose complex operational workflows into clear repeatable steps
• Passion for data integrity with a proven track record of transforming raw inputs into high quality datasets
• A self starter attitude and demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Experience in the following is a plus: Generative AI tools AWS Bedrock LangChain
• Testing frameworks pytest

Responsibilities

• Understand the data and the domain
• Translate domain knowledge into data infrastructure requirements and resolve data related issues
• Explore raw customer data to identify files columns characteristics and derive insights
• Build and own data pipelines
• Design and implement end to end ETL ELT pipelines
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and customers when information is missing or discrepancies are found
• Run quality control on data and data products through automated tests and manual review
• Build AI powered data products including automated insights anomaly detection and AI assisted data quality checks
• Evaluate the quality and reliability of AI ML outputs against domain expectations
• Deliver data based products to external customers including interactive data analysis and visualizations
• Improve the internal tools for data cleaning and data quality assessment
