What you will do

• Own and evolve streaming data pipelines that power live inference and real-time model serving.
• Design and build high-reliability feature stores with low-latency serving for production ML models.
• Implement and maintain streaming systems using RisingWave, Apache Flink, or Kafka Streams.
• Collaborate with ML engineers and AI infra teams to define data contracts and pipeline SLAs.
• Transition existing batch pipelines to real-time processing to significantly reduce latency.
• Ensure data quality, observability, and auditability across all streaming and feature engineering systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2 years focused on production streaming systems.
• Hands-on experience with RisingWave, Apache Flink, Kafka Streams, or comparable frameworks.
• Strong understanding of feature store design, including online/offline consistency and point-in-time correctness.
• Experience building data pipelines that feed production ML models or inference systems.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Scala, and fluency in SQL.
• Must be based in the United States (indicated by US-specific benefits and location).

Nice to have

• Direct production experience with RisingWave.
• Exposure to inference pipeline architecture or model serving infrastructure.
• Experience with feature platforms.
• Domain experience in crypto or fintech.
