What you will do

• Architect, design, and develop a mission-critical data activation platform.
• Build real-time distributed systems focusing on low latency, high throughput, and high availability.
• Manage data pipelines and stream processing using Kafka, Flink, and Spark.
• Develop modular and testable code utilizing dependency injection frameworks like Guice and Spring.
• Monitor service health using Cloudwatch, DataDog, and Grafana.
• Ensure rapid delivery of services using CI/CD infrastructure.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience designing and developing real-time distributed systems.
• Proficiency with AWS services, specifically DynamoDB, S3, SQS, and IAM.
• Experience with JVM-based languages (Java/Kotlin) and Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Actuator).
• Strong practice in TDD and unit testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• Must be based in or able to work from San Mateo, CA.
