Project Finance Analyst (Clinical R&D)

Location: United States of America

Annualized minimum base pay: $55,000 USD; actual compensation depends on qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency.

What you will do

• Review contract payment schedules and prepare monthly fee-for-service and pass-through invoices for assigned projects.
• Analyze contracts, budgets, and project hours for financial system setup and internal tracking.
• Calculate monthly contract revenue and project backlog.
• Support Project Managers with monthly reporting and project profitability analysis.
• Analyze change orders, prepare cash flow analyses, and develop payment schedules.
• Attend project meetings and support Project and Finance Managers with project-related analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• At least one year of accounting or finance experience within a contract research organization.
• Experience with a revenue recognition system.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Excel.
