Avionics Systems Engineer (Aerospace)

Salary: $75,000–$95,000 Annually

What you will do

• Review customer product requests and formulate conceptual design changes for existing products.
• Analyze project proposals to determine feasibility, manufacturability, and cost.
• Perform system and software integration activities to verify product functionality.
• Support aircraft system safety assessment processes, including FMEAs and fault tree analyses.
• Provide certification support for TSO and STC projects in accordance with FAA standards.
• Support ground and flight testing activities on aircraft.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems, Software, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum three years of related avionics and technical professional experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Expert knowledge of product requirements and management tools.
• Understanding of avionics certification processes and system safety assessment.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally at least 30% of the time.
