Salary: $7,283.75 - $10,474.08 CAD Monthly

What you will do

  • Triage students with mental health and wellbeing concerns, conducting initial assessments and structured judgment processes.
  • Develop personalized initial care plans and facilitate urgent or non-urgent referrals.
  • Collaborate with campus stakeholders including Academic Advisors, Residence Life Managers, and community mental health providers.
  • Maintain detailed and professional student records in accordance with established unit policies and ethical standards.
  • Participate in health promotion programming, facilitating workshops and staffing orientation events.
  • Provide drop-in, single-session counselling and group counselling programs as time permits.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or be able to work onsite at the hirify.global Vancouver Campus.
  • Master's degree in Counselling Psychology or a related field.
  • Certification as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors or eligibility for professional certification in British Columbia.
  • Minimum of three years experience in Clinical Counselling.
  • Experience conducting triage in a fast-paced mental health service setting.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Nice to have

  • Post-secondary experience with knowledge of student development theory.
  • Expertise working with international, Aboriginal, or graduate students.
  • Bilingual or multi-lingual proficiency.
  • Training in the assessment and treatment of substance use, trauma, depression, and anxiety.
