What you will do

• Daily booking and coordination of EHS transfers to optimize resource usage and meet patient needs.
• Collaborate closely with MCC, Operations, and LifeFlight teams to facilitate efficient patient flow throughout the province.
• Work within the NSH Care Coordination Centre (C3) to prioritize and coordinate inter-facility transfers.
• Plan long-haul transfers and identify patients eligible for the Non-Critical Care Team (NCCT).
• Propose and participate in patient flow initiatives to reduce delays and improve operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with NSH partners across different zones.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a health setting.
• Must be able to work onsite at both Redstone (MCC) and the NSH C3 in Nova Scotia.
• Minimum grade 12 education.
• Strong background in customer service and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Availability to work a rotating schedule including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Licensed healthcare provider in Nova Scotia (e.g., Paramedic) is considered a strong asset.
