Focus on rapidly assessing clinical needs, implementing risk management plans, documenting cases, and collaborating with affiliate clinicians and global clinical teams.
Location: Remote in Ontario, Canada; occasional out-of-office-hour shifts and an annual in-person team gathering may be required.

What you will do
- Act as the first point of contact for EAP and mental health service users through helpline and online chat.
- Provide brief, goal-focused counselling, in-the-moment support, and psychoeducation.
- Complete clinical assessments and determine appropriate short-term counselling, healthcare, charity, or other support.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management plans for high-risk cases.
- Document clinical information accurately and follow clinical, operational, governance, and quality assurance protocols.
- Coordinate with affiliate clinicians and collaborate with global clinical teams.
Requirements
- Master’s-level counselling qualification meeting the professional standards of the relevant Canadian jurisdiction.
- Current registration or accreditation with a relevant professional body.
- At least 3 years of post-qualification therapeutic delivery experience.
- Experience with mental health, trauma, stress, relationship, child-related, anxiety, and substance-related issues.
- Experience managing high-risk cases involving suicide, abuse, and substance use.
- Computer literacy, fast typing, telephone therapy skills, clinical risk management ability, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure.

- Bilingualism in English and French.
- Experience working in high-pressure, time-limited environments.
- Ability to combine clinical and EAP approaches with strong client service and business awareness.
