What you will do
- Prospect, pitch, and close new businesses in an assigned territory to build and grow the merchant network.
- Use a field-first approach: visit prospective merchants daily and attend local events to nurture relationships.
- Own the full sales cycle from outreach and drop-ins through negotiation and close, using in-person, phone, email, and virtual touchpoints.
- Meet or exceed monthly acquisition quotas and pipeline conversion targets.
- Act as a local market expert to identify untapped opportunities aligned with customer demand.
- Maintain a disciplined pipeline and track activity and performance metrics in Salesforce.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of outbound field sales experience, plus strong inside sales skills.
- Expertise in full-cycle B2B sales methodology with a focus on conversion optimization.
- Strong B2B negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proven track record of exceeding quotas and OKRs in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel 70–80% (local day trips and extended multi-night regional travel).
