Salary: $147,000 - $208,425

What you will do

• Lead the planning, design, and development of mission systems flight software for uncrewed aircraft.
• Write and test onboard Linux application software for sensor and processor integration.
• Participate in and lead software design reviews while ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and provide technical guidance across the software stack.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to reuse developed software across various programs.
• Contribute to process improvement efforts and ensure delivery according to project schedules.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) required due to ITAR compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics.
• Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience in Linux application software development.
• Expertise in Python, C, or C++11/17 and STL.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile development, unit testing, and debugging.
• Familiarity with source control tools like Git and cloud-based CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience with computer vision and machine learning on embedded systems.
• Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS2) on Linux/ARM.
• Familiarity with real-time controls and advanced estimation techniques.
• Experience with UAS, drones, or autonomous vehicle systems.
