What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in designing and maintaining flight and mission simulators.
• Modernize legacy codebases while implementing new features and performance optimizations.

• Manage projects using Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure high-quality delivery.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is strictly required due to government contract regulations.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret or higher clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in C++, C, Python, or C# with experience in real-time or embedded systems.
• Expertise in simulation or defense systems development and legacy code maintenance.
