What you will do

• Design and build simulation environments for integrated labs, HILs, and SW benches used in aircraft validation.
• Own tools and interfaces for labs to optimize workflows and ensure configuration management and traceability for certification.
• Integrate third-party hardware and software systems into simulation architectures.
• Develop and optimize simulation pipelines with CI/CD integration for automated deployment and monitoring.
• Set technical standards, mentor engineers, and lead work breakdowns and planning across labs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building and maintaining HW-in-the-loop (HIL) test simulation environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace, Software, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink in a real-time simulation environment.
• Strong command of communication protocols: RS-422/485, CAN/CAN-FD, ARINC-429, and Ethernet/TCP-IP.
• Must have valid US work authorization (no visa sponsorship available).

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, spacecraft, or autonomous vehicles.
• Proficiency in the NI software suite (LabVIEW, VeriStand).
• Experience in real-time OS development.
• Familiarity with FAA frameworks and DO-178 standards.
• Startup or fast-paced aerospace development experience.
