What you will do

• Lead system architecture development for autonomous flight systems, including Flight Control and High-Level Task Planning.
• Design, implement, and integrate C++ product software for guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) modules.
• Oversee the transition of algorithmic designs to embedded deployment across diverse aerial platforms.
• Develop simulation and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test infrastructure.
• Create automated verification pipelines using C++, Python, and MATLAB.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in autonomy, robotics systems, or GNC software development.
• Expert proficiency in C++ for real-time embedded software and experience with robotics frameworks (e.g., ROS).
• Strong knowledge of control theory, flight dynamics, and embedded systems.
• Experience with Linux troubleshooting and systems-level debugging for hardware-interfacing software.
• BS in Aerospace, Electrical, or Computer Engineering (MS preferred).
• Must have valid US work authorization as the company is unable to provide visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with fielded robotic systems or flight testing of small aircraft.
• Extensive experience with Simulink and Embedded Coder.
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine or OpenGL.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
